O.W.L's & N.E.W.T's

I've heard a lot of people saying that these two exams should make a comeback. O.W.L's and N.E.W.T's are a more interesting way for students to pass to a higher year, but, I want to hear from your on your views about these two exams. If more of you vote "yes" on the subject, I shall bring this up with my fellow employees. If not, we'll find another way to make #H# more interesting.

i voted yes but for the OWLs and NEWTs to be just for between a couple of years, lemme explain:

Well, I was actually thinking of an easier way for students to get higher in the student list. E.g 7th Year. If they exceed the standards of 1st Year, I feel that they should get an O.W.L test, and if they pass, they go to 5th year.

I like the idea, because it's good for top notch students who shouldnt be in e.g. 2nd year, but I like your suggestions.

You can't just give them a small test and then suddenly make them go up to 5th year.

I agree with dak, that only 5th and 7th years should do it
